Sterling Spaces has been in the venue management business for over 14 years, including marketing and selling multiple venues with different styles that reflect each specific venue. Our marketing and sales teams have extensive experience with wedding, social, corporate, and non-profit events of all sizes.
Our sister division, Sterling Events, has over 40 years of experience marketing and operating meetings, conventions, trade shows, and incentive travel events at an extensive array of venues throughout the world. These experiences make up our marketing and sales expertise that we now offer our venues and their owners.

Contracts & Sales Booking

Your venue needs a robust set of contracts, addendums, and other legal documents that include not just venue rental basics, but also agreements covering food and beverage, bar services, and other licensing and liability protections for you as the venue owner. 

Sterling Spaces possesses these contractual and legal resources and utilizes Tripleseat for booking, calendaring, and CAD software to streamline the sales process. This software allows us to provide you with reports on Sterling’s effectiveness to market, sell, and contract new business for your venue

Operational Systems & Staffing

How you operate and staff your venue directly affects your reputation and your ability to welcome and delight every guest at every event. Sterling calls this “Radical Hospitality”, and we take great pride in our commitment to those standards each and every day.

Sterling uses industry-leading processes to handle a wide variety of event types and sizes and emphasizes ongoing training and development of our event staff. Facilities Management

Your venue must be well-maintained both in its exterior and interior appearance. Additionally, there must be plans and onsite experience to handle preventative maintenance as well as all pop-up repair needs and facility upkeep.
Sterling has a Facilities Management team ready to serve any venue management relationship and can be customized to suit the specific needs of you and your venue.

Add-on Revenue Streams

Some venue owners prefer a “blank canvas” approach, handling venue rental only, leaving the remaining details of event management to various outside vendors.
Sterling has invested in a number of revenue streams to grow your bottom line as a full-service venue. We want to provide clients with turnkey event experiences that minimize stress and maximize value for the client, and for you as our partner.

Among those are:
  • Food and Beverage
Sterling has relationships with select caterers at each venue that provide customized menus and pricing to ensure every F&B event delights guests and delivers delicious culinary experiences.

 

  • Bar services
Sterling hires trained bartenders using Sterling ABC licensing to give us authority and responsibility of alcohol service at every event. This includes proper storage, recordkeeping, and serving control plus the opportunity to sell specialty beverages and customize bar menus to individual client needs.
  • China, Flatware, Glassware
Sterling has invested in our own house china, flatware, and glassware, saving our clients from expensive outside rentals, while still offering upgraded selections from our rental partners at discounted prices.
  • The Sterling Collection
Sterling maintains a wide variety of arbors, chairs, settees, large decor pieces, soft seating lounges, specialty tables, heaters, and bars, all of which are housed in our 15,000 sq. ft. warehouse located near Winston-Salem, NC. Using our truck fleet, our in-house staff will deliver, set up, and strike Sterling Collection inventory.

The Sterling Difference – Our Story

Sterling Spaces was created as the natural outgrowth of 40 years of event production by its sister division, Sterling Events Group.
Since 1985, Sterling Events has produced numerous meetings, conventions, trade shows, and incentive travel events for clients on a worldwide basis. In 2011, those events led Sterling to renovate, operate and own its first wedding, special events, and conference center venue, historic WinMock at Kinderton in Bermuda Run, North Carolina. WinMock has continued to delight wedding, social, corporate, and non-profit clients over the years, using its experience in event production as a guide for excellence.
In 2019, Sterling was asked by several owners of wedding and event venues in central North Carolina to become involved in managing their venue on a daily basis. That new opportunity blossomed into a new division called Sterling Spaces.
