The Holt House

Built in 1834 and known as the oldest home in Davidson County, The Holt House has been thoughtfully restored into a distinctive event venue rooted in history and hospitality. Today, it offers a warm and welcoming setting for weddings, corporate gatherings, and private celebrations.

With elegant interior spaces and over an acre of outdoor grounds, the venue provides flexibility for both intimate events and larger gatherings. Managed in partnership with Sterling Spaces, every event is supported by an experienced team focused on delivering a seamless and memorable experience.

The Grand Parlor

The Grand Parlor consists of two formal rooms featuring original hardwood floors, 12-foot ceilings, antique chandeliers, and historic architectural details. These rooms can be used individually or opened together to create a seamless flow for ceremonies, dining, or gatherings.

Food & Beverage

The Holt House + Sterling Spaces offer both all-inclusive packages with our in-house catering partners or an a la carte option where you may choose from caters on our Approved Caterers List. Full bar service and on-site security is also available through Sterling Spaces.

Enhancements

The Holt House also offers in-house custom florals for any size event.

Convenient Location

The Holt House is nestled between gorgeous Magnolia and Oaks trees right off of Main Street in quaint uptown Lexington, NC. Located in the piedmont triad, the venue is less than 30 minutes from Winston-Salem and High Point, and only 1 hour from Greensboro and Charlotte. Raleigh/Durham is about 1.5 hours away.

The Holt House is located in the heart of uptown Lexington and within walking distance to the Candy Factory, The Goose and the Monkey Brewhouse, Bullcity Ciderworks, Sophies Cork and Ale and several other restaurants, antique stores and specialty shops. Lexington is most well known for it’s own “Lexington Style Barbecue” and boasts 8 barbecue restaurants. Childress Vineyards and 4 other local wineries are located just a few miles from the Holt House.

Parking

There is no charge for street parking in uptown Lexington. Our neighboring churches and businesses are also kind enough to allow use of their lots pending availability. A parking attendant and signage will be provided for each event.
