WinMock at Kinderton
In 2010, Sterling Events Group took ownership of a vacant farm and launched an extensive restoration plan to breathe new life into the property. Prior to the purchase, Sterling Events Group had built a strong reputation in the global events industry. The company had planned and produced conferences and gatherings of all kinds, all over the world. Founder Wayne Thomas and his team had become masters at finding fascinating venues at which to hold events — from Scottish castles to isolated Alpine villas.
The events staged in these unusual places were memorable, but the Sterling Spaces team regretted one common shortcoming: it seemed the more interesting the property was, the less likely it would be to have the technology expected by attendees at modern conferences & special events. When Sterling Spaces discovered WinMock at Kinderton, they committed themselves to restoring the finely crafted buildings while creating a beautiful event venue with the most advanced technical infrastructure.
Attendees would sacrifice nothing for the pleasure of holding their event at this extraordinary place. The beauty and significance of WinMock’s design led to its listing as a National Historic Site, and earned an individual listing on the United States National Register of Historic Places — a designation held by less than 10% of all properties on the Register. Combine that with the considered renovations of veteran event planners, and you’re looking at one of the most capable and exquisite event venues in the American South.
Today Sterling Spaces at WinMock hosts corporate conferences, social events and weddings throughout the year. Its experienced staff is grouped into teams dedicated to specific types of events. You can meet them here.

WinMock at Kinderton + Sterling Spaces offer both all-inclusive packages with our in-house catering partners or an a la carte option where you may choose from a caters from our Approved Caterers List.
BEVERAGE SERVICE
WinMock + Sterling Spaces offers full bar service for your event and all beer, wine and liquor must be ordered from and served through WinMock + Sterling Spaces. On-site security, contracted by Sterling Spaces is required with all bar services, unless otherwise agreed upon.
LOCATION
Named for its central location between Winston-Salem and Mocksville, North Carolina, WinMock sits as one of the premier event venues in the American South. WinMock is less than 15 minutes from Winston-Salem, 20 minutes from High Point, 30 minutes from Greensboro and only an hour and 15 minutes from Charlotte. Raleigh/Durham is about 2 hours away. Our location is an easy interstate drive for guests traveling along I77 and I40, perfect for events with guests spread out across our great state.
Tanglewood Park and the Bermuda Run Country Club are each within walking distance from WinMock. There is a nearby limited service hotel in Advance, NC and more overnight accommodations and a multitude of restaurants in the neighboring Village of Clemmons, NC that is less than 5 minutes away.
PARKING
WinMock has ample on-site parking for each venue (Main Barn and The Granary) with nearby overflow parking, as needed. Parking attendants may be required for select events.
