Sterling Spaces was created as the natural combination of over 35 years of event production and event venue ownership by its parent, Sterling Events Group.
Since 1985, Sterling Events has produced numerous meetings, conventions, tradeshows, and incentive travel events for clients on a worldwide basis. Those events led Sterling in 2011 to renovate and own its first wedding and special events venue, WinMock at Kinderton, in Bermuda Run, NC. WinMock has continued to delight wedding, social, corporate, and non-profit clients over these past years, using its experience in event production as a guide for excellence.
In 2019, Sterling was asked by several owners of wedding and event venues in central North Carolina to become involved in managing their venues on a daily basis. That new opportunity blossomed into a new division called Sterling Spaces. This new division could not expand during the pandemic, but is now growing to include multiple wedding and special event venues. Sterling Spaces offers venue owners a complete suite of management services, including marketing, operational, financial, and facilities resources.
In addition to venue management services, Sterling Spaces is introducing The Sterling Collection of rental furniture, décor, and other event equipment offered through its venues. The Sterling Collection will continue to grow in size and scope of its offerings to event clients of Sterling Spaces.
